Lucknow— Day 2 of Manfest–Varchasva 2026, the flagship management and cultural festival of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, unfolded in the resonant afterglow of Bismil ki Mehfil, whose evocative Techno-Sufi soundscape set an immersive and reflective tone for the day’s proceedings.
The intellectual core of the day was anchored by the Leaders’ Express sessions, which drew packed audiences. Mr. Anil Swarup, Founder of Nexus of Good and former IAS officer, delivered a compelling address on ethical leadership, public accountability, and the urgent need for institutional reform in India. Mr. Indrajeet Sengupta, former CHRO at Johnson & Johnson and Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, offered sharp insights into leadership transitions in an AI-driven world, emphasizing adaptability and human-centric decision-making. Adding a technology-forward perspective, Mr. Amit Chandra, Vice President at IDS, explored the practical applications of blockchain in governance and public systems.
Cultural events kept the campus buzzing with energy and creativity. Duez Danza, the dance competition, was judged by celebrated choreographer Nandini Pillai, while Izhaar, the expression-based showcase, was evaluated by digital creator Ankur Agarwal. The poetry competition Rohan provided a thoughtful interlude, inviting introspection amid the festivities.

The day also marked the launch of the Grand Model United Nations Conference, while anticipation built for Bollywood Night, headlined by singer Papon. Blending ideas, culture, and celebration, Day 2 reaffirmed Manfest–Varchasva’s reputation as one of Asia’s most prestigious collegiate festivals.
